GRIND GUIDE

We could give you exact grinder settings for various grind sizes and different brews, but the reality is that every grinder is different, and as they are mechanical machines that require tuning, even factory-new grinders might have some slight variances.

Therefore, we have put together a visual guide to help you out. There will be some trial and error, but it’s the best way to get an optimal grind.

We know that it can be overwhelming at the beginning, but this is the best way to get to know your grinder. Use our extraction guide when you’re tasting to help you figure out your optimal brew.

  • Find the 0% setting on your grinder. This will be the finest grind.
  • Find the 100% setting on your grinder. This will be the coarsest grind.
  • Assume that 50% (mid-way point between these two settings) is a medium grind.
